Suicide Boom

Twice a suicide bombing, which occurred in almost the same time, killing at least 23 people and injuring 50 others.

Meanwhile, according to a spokesman for the Kandahar provincial government, Faisal Javid, most of the victims are those who work in shops around the blast site, or passersby. Numerous injuries were reported still in critical condition.

Botched the Taliban spokesman, Qari Yousef Ahmadi claimed responsibility. The scene is about 500 meters from the military headquarters of Afghanistan, or about five kilometers from the main gate of the Kandahar air base.
